Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971 is an South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She worked as a CBS News journalist from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politically biased report regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the greatest mistake on my 10-year-old watch." In 2019 she was hired by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media firm. 4 On January 4, 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed that she was "dumped” by the network in March 2022. Logan did her schooling as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years she decided to move into freelance journalism. She was assigned as a reporter, editor/producer and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN, reporting on incidents like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo conflict.
